RADECS 2005, the 8th European Conference on Radiation and Its Effects on Components and Systems, will take place in the Palais des Congrès, Cap d'Agde, France, from 19 to 23 September 2005. The Conference technical program will feature oral and poster presentations describing recent observations, results, and developments concerning radiation effects on materials, electronic components, and systems. A technical exhibition will complement the technical program.
A short course on "New Challenges for Radiation Tolerance Assessment - from Deep Space Environments to Fusion Reactor Environments" will be held on 19 September 2005.

Attire for banquet: Males - Business suit and tie Females - Cocktail, social occasion, or semi-formal attire. Note that sleeves or a light wrap/sweater may be useful for the portion of the event that is outside.
